Tuesday's card featured the first round of the
Ladbrokes Arc with some graded fillers.
Greenfield Fawn made all the running and ran out a decent winner
of the opening S2. She has improved significantly for the step up to
6 bends.
Gilbeyhall Rodge was clumsy at the 4th bend and kept on for
second.
There appeared to be a significant going bias, with the wide runners
in the Arc heats being significantly disadvantaged.
Mustang Garcia (from T1) produced a decent start and made all to
land the Ladbrokes.com ARC - 1st ROUND - HEAT 1.
Slick Spirit (T2) was modestly away giving
Mustang Garcia plenty of space on the run to the turn.
Centaur Decree was crowded on the run up and kept on to finish
2nd.
Legal Major grabbed 3rd qualifying spot despite being far from
fluent at the bends.
Discreet Cat and
Noirs Ted collided at the first bend, putting paid to their
chances.
Despite not breaking well,
Blonde Jeannie quickened up on the run to the turn and made all
in the Ladbrokes.com ARC - 1st ROUND - HEAT 2.
Bower Turbo showed pace down the back after a modest start and
challenged at the 3rd bend. He ran a decent race in second.
Kilkenny Lonjack came home well for 3rd after his usual slow
start.

last by the rag,
Swhimasdylan.
Vipar Totti stayed on for 3rd.
Mystical Haka ran wide at the last bend and was one paced on the
run in, in 4th.
Seanis Strike was outpaced and crowded at the first. The new
Ladbrokes' odds compiler was last night unveiled as Stevie Wonder and
he stuck this one in as ante post fav! Must have used a dice!
Island Storm was outclassed and could never get in the hunt.
Tonetta Balboa looked set to lead off the 2nd bend in the
Ladbrokes.com ARC - 1st ROUND - HEAT 4, but was unluckily spiked
coming out of the bend. He's a rerally nice scopey dog and it could
pay to watch out for him in the coming weeks.
Wheres Yer Man emerged the leader off the second bend, but faded
on the run in, but still qualified in third.
Julies Protege ran rails from T3 and was crowded on the run up,
before staying on and leading near the line.

bend before keeping on to grab 2nd qualifying spot.
Romeo Marco was slow away and crowded a few times from the 2nd
bend to half way.
Baran Pedro was smashed up at the 2nd bend when a close 3rd.
This was a really messy heat and I didn't think the best dogs went
through.
Milldean Buster produced an excellent start and made all to land
the Ladbrokes.com ARC - 1st ROUND - HEAT 5.
Cobra Striking ran a little better than of late, but was still
not 100% fluent at the 3rd bend.
Erinaceous Rapid stayed on for 3rd after a modest start.
Ronnies Hustle missed the break, before suffering crowding at
the second bend. He was disappointing nevertheless. Ante post bets
can go down as well as up.
Directors Choice was outclassed.
Noirs Denis was smashed up at the second bend. He showed pace
down the back straight, but had no chance after the 2nd bend.
Milldean Flash made it a quick fire double for his owners and
the Cahill's as he ran out a decent winner of the Ladbrokes.com ARC
- 1st ROUND - HEAT 6.
Arthurs Joy also showed decent pace, both to the bend and down
the back straight. However, he was not fluent at a couple of bends
and still kept on ok for second.
Lively Arthur plodded on for third.
Opening Artist was smashed up at the 2nd bend following a slow
start. He came home well, but could not get back into it.
Pagoda Tarbert checked a several bends and never got into the
hunt.
Hackney Carriage came in as a reserve. he was slow away and
badly crowded at the 2nd bend.
Hypatia Blue put in an improved performance in the Ladbrokes.com
ARC - 1st ROUND - HEAT 7. She shot out of the traps, ran middle and
made all.
Ballymac Rita stayed on for second after a modest start.
Ronnies Earner grabbed 3rd, but was one paced from the last
bend.
Kindred Sparky moved off at the second and 4th bends, but could
not get on terms with the leaders. He looked significantly affected
by the going bias against the wides, as he's real reliable.
Romeo Maldini was very slow away and stayed on, but was another
to be affected by the bias.
Toosey Blue missed the break, ran wide and disappointed.
Treacle Rose made all to land the Ladbrokes.com ARC - 1st ROUND
- HEAT 8, holding on desperately at the finish.
Westmead Prince held every chance in second and went down by a
neck.

Nightshade showed some pace from the second bend, but faded on
the run in. (bias sufferer)
Stone Mole Spark was smashed up at the 2nd bend after a modest
break.
Slick Striker checked off and was badly crowded at the 2nd bend.
Twilight Fantasy set the pace in the marathon M1, before he was
one paced from 7/8.
Ebony Ocean finished well and led on the run in.
Girl Next Door stayed on for second. the rest did not stay.
Placid Jill set a decent early pace in the S1 finale.
Droopys Kan Kan stayed on and led near the line. It was nice not
to go out on the usual shit contest.
