Jo
Jo Anne was sent off 6/4 in the opening A9, despite a 1/15
record. She was quickly into her stride and she made all. She won by
a diminishing length as her stride shortened on the run in. Annies
Romeo kept on for second.
The H1 event wasn't
one of the better hurdles run recently. Winkys
Don led, but had his heels clipped at the second bend. Four
Minutes and Wol
took over on the run to the 3rd bend. Winkys
Don screwed up on the run in and Wol
won it on the run to the line by two heads.
There
was a pile up in the A8 at the second bend and Droopys
Attracta got a very clear run and led from the second bend. Tadgells
Emily caused most of the trouble by moving off at the second
bend. Droopys
Delia ran wide at the 4th bend and stayed on for second.
Lockdale
Prince made most of the running and won the S3. Droopys
Jackay came to win the race at the 5th bend and dwelt on the run
in and threw the race away. Ellies
Angel was another to show plenty of neck action.
In
a field of modest starters in the A7, Trailer
Dawn made the most of his rails draw. She showed just about the
best early pace and made all. She ran out a decent winner. Beat
Them George looked booked for second, but a bit of high tail
action suggested that all was not well. Pyrotechnic
was crowded at the first bend after a slow start, but nabbed second
place near the line.
Josim
Darkie showed decent early pace and led round in the A6. He
appeared to cramp on the run in and was collared by Jo
Junior. Allglaze
Osgood had a dwell up on the run in. That's four in 7 races so
far.
Swahv
Zico led on the draw and made all in the A5. Westridge
Faith turned close behind, but faded on the run in. So
Said He moved off atthe first and kept on best of the rest for
second.
Fabregas
showed good pace and led up in the S1. He made all and held on from Droopys
Boss, who turned close enough, but couldn't quite get on terms.
The game I
Dont Clare stuck on well on the rails and only was headed for
second near the line. She may win one of the weaker S1 races soon.
Droopys
Lotto broke modestly in the A4, but showed good pace to hit the
front on the run to the first bend. Terry
My Pal turned close behind and took over at the 3rd bend. This
was Terry
My Pal's 5th win from 22 starts. Droopys
Lotto gamely stuck his neck out for second as Iona
Prince challenged her on the run in.
Show
Vision showed good early pace and made all in the A3. Blacknotblue
finished a long second. Swhimascharl
did not look too sound in behind.
Buckland
Wally led round in the A2, but was run out of it close home by Adamant
Laser. Not
So Jolly was a bit disappointing in 3rd. He has not recaptured
his best form.
Reverse
Pace was a fair winner of a competitive A1. He paced up well and
shut the door on the closing Venturemore
at the 3rd bend. Venturemore
looked to be travelling the better, but often seems to leave himself
a little to do. This was win 9 from 29 for Reverse
Pace.
Not
A Trace started smartly and made all in the S3 finale. He held
on by a head from the staying on Witches
Petal. London
Pride turned second, but seemed to take a bad stride at the last
bend and he faded on the run in.
