Miserable B’stard Romford owner –

Walthamstow Report 06 Feb 2007

Tuesday brought a modest graded card on a bitterly cold night. I was baulked on the run up and missed the first three races, though not a miserable b’stard Romford who done his bollo*ks and moaned for England.

Aimwell broke well in the S4 and held every chance before Shaunas Celtic, who contested throughout, came and grabbed the prize. Despite running wide at the bends, the well backed Box Of Tricks won the A7 (5/4 from 2/1). Shimano Viking held every chance.

Rough Venus made an impressive debut in the A6. Weak in the market, she was anything but weak in the race, as she quickly put the race to bed.

Lode Star made a mockery of the A5 after a slow start. Those who had done there money on this one got it back in some style as Lode Star roared down the back straight to quickly put away the progressive Elusive For Sure.

Rambling Ruth was another big priced winner in the S3. The front three all ran round and the race seemed to be decided after the break.

Droopys Best Man ran particularly well to win the first of two A4 race. He was hammered at the 2nd bend, but rode the bump well to pick up the leader Harry Chuckles.

The well backed Boy Becca bolted out of the traps and made all in the other A4. Eye Onthe Flyer stayed on well for second and had a good old look on the run to the pick up.

One for the layers as Sparta Master took the A3. Buckland Wally held every chance, but could not get on terms.

Mystical Haka won well to win the A2. No sign of the dwell up of 12 days ago here.

Another for the layers as the Mark Wallis trained Blue Rizzler produced a smart break and made all.

Craigdales Ruby got it all wrong in the last race and stayed on too late as the race went the way of Grumpy Joe, who lead at the 5th bend.
