NFL Week 2 Game Previews
Week 2 thoughts
Too many bets at 1st glance but have to go with my initial
thoughts. Nap is Washington and I will post the reasons why
tomorrow. As for tonight………
Miami appear to have a decent chance tonight I made this a
scratch game so getting 7 (stand alone price) as opposed to 2.5, 3,
3,5 & 4 with Stan James at shorter odds seems the right way to
go. Dallas were great to watch last week but its the defence that
will hurt them. The undoubted talents of Terrell Owens have never
been in dispute but his temperament is highly questionable, this
piece of dynamite usually explodes when his team-mates are leaking
points and inevitably he will not always be able to make the big
plays. Miami however also need to improve, their rushing defence was
ripped apart last week but with home advantage expect that to
improve, starting with the excellent Jason Taylor, expect him to a
colossal game alongside, Zach Thomas, Joey Porter & Vonnie
Holliday. In attack Miami have many outs and big play guys to go to
but again it’s the rushing game that must improve, herein lies the
clue for me, the Cowboys are not great here and it would not take
much of an effort for the Dolphins running backs to have a good day,
if they do the receivers will cause havoc.
Tennessee of the back of an excellent win could well frustrate
the Colts, the Titans should get to the playoffs and a strong
performance tonight will enhance than prospect, getting 7.5 is to
good to refuse a side than are most improved at clock management.
Manning (Colts) will have to be at his most patient here, he does
throw the occasional interception, 2 here will cost him the game.
Last season he threw one at home in the 14-13 win when Colts were
5-0 and Titans 0-5, in the same fixture at Tennessee, he threw 2
interceptions and they lost 20-17, Colts at this stage were 10-2
Titans 5-7, the improvement of Titans during regular season clear to
see, if they have continued that progress history should repeat
itself. Not impossible to see the Tennessee win the match!

Highlighted this for an obvious reason but not for me
Tempting but might be a tough fixture for Colts in what I expect
to be a low scoring affair. The home team, have made huge progress
with controlling the ball. Addai might not get much change here
