Miami @ Washington -2.5
Washington 26 pts win @ 10/13 NAP
Washington are beginning to build the right sort of team and I
like their 2 main running backs, Clinton Portis (should start) has
always looked decent and Betts was very impressive towards season
end, the team were ranked 3 at season end for rushing, as opposed to
Miami who have real trouble defending against it. Plenty of talent
elsewhere, QB Jason Campbell has a good all round game, throws
touchdowns and can rush well when required, only concern is the fact
his is prone to interceptions but that might be unfair as he has
little experience at this level. The Dolphins new coach will need to
perform miracles to get them back on track

Tennessee @ Jacksonville -6.5
With QB Leftwich released the Jaguars may finally start to add
some consistency to their undoubted ability to perform at
championship level. What is noticeable about the Jags is that they
play well against good sides, they have an immense defence and all
they truly need is a bit of flair with the new QB, Garrard could be
that man. The fixture suits home team too, Tennessee don't play well
here.
Jacksonville 15 pts win @ 10/11 NB

Tampa @ Seattle -5.5
Thoroughly consistent and with a multitude of talent at their
disposal, Seattle should win this in a canter. Head coach 'Chucky'
could well be 1st coach to go is they don't start well, and putting
his faith in Jeff Garcia is not my idea of a long term fix.
The line is widely available and seems to be heading here from
6.5!
